Care for your Lust Pearls

Lust Pearl jewellery loves to be worn. Contact with the skin helps maintain the pearl’s lustre.
 
Cleaning pearls is quite simple:
 
Periodically, gently wipe your Lust Pearls with a damp cloth that has been dipped in freshwater.  The use of diluted alcohols with warm water or mild soapy water is not recommended. Dry with soft cloth.
 
To protect your Lust Pearls and Lust Pearl jewellery, store them in their original case, or wrapped in a soft cloth protecting them from abrasive items, which includes harder gems and gold. Wire or cable necklets should be stored flat.
 
Apply makeup and hair products prior to putting on your pearl jewellery. Ideally perfumes should not be applied to areas where you will wear your pearls as these chemicals may be harmful to your pearls.
 
Lust Pearl strands should be periodically checked to ensure there is no thread breakage. Re-stringing of strands is recommended every 2 years. Clasps should also be checked by your Lust Pearl jeweller.
 
Avoid acidic elements, dust and dirt. Lust Pearls jewellery should not be worn when swimming, in the shower or spa. If your Lust Pearl jewellery piece requires cleaning take it to your Lust Pearl jeweller.
