International Ring Sizes

Just like shoes and clothing, different measurement or sizing systems are used globally to indicate the size of a product, and this is no different when measuring up for sizing a ring. For your convenience Lust Pearls has supplied the following table of international ring sizing conventions.

Please note that ring size and finger size have the same meaning.

Rings and ring gauges are hard metal objects that can be measured very precisely and accurately, however your finger in its combination of flesh and bone can adjust in size with swelling from change with temperature, humidity, exercise, food you have eaten, the time of day, time of the month, pregnancy and other factors, therefore your finger, which is not perfectly round can't be measured with the same accuracy as the ring.

Ideally the right ring for you will be one that will stay on comfortably, fits snugly, and gives a little resistence when you take it off. As a recommendation, wider rings should be a little looser than their narrower counterparts. A rule of thumb (excuse the pun) is to allow a quarter or half size larger for wider rings if you have measured using narrow sizing rings.
